The Governor has announced that schools will be closed through May15th.
Step By Step Dance Studio will also remain closed through May 15th
That being said, we have decided to finish out our dance year with Virtual Classes. We feel this will keep our dancers conditioned and connected. Every dance class will follow the same schedule that was held in the studio. PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAILS! Each teacher will send out an email to their own classes.
We will do our best to be creative so that classes seem as “normal” as possible. We are asking parents and dancers to try to find safe space in your home to hold a dance class. We are also asking that dancers are appropriately dressed for class, hair is pulled back away from the face, proper footwear, something sturdy to hold on to for barre work and water nearby.
Also, I am a huge PET LOVER, but what I have witnessed during this experience is that Pets Love the camera. If you could please let your pets know that our dancers need a little alone time during class time, it would be greatly appreciated!
Official Virtual Dance Classes will begin the week of April 27th.
When we left the studio:
- Monday -Thursday had 7 classes left.
- Friday and Saturday had 6 classes left

SATURDAY MAY 16th we will hold Virtual Rehearsals for EVERY Recital Dance in the order of our upcoming Recital. You will receive an email for every dance you will be rehearsing, rehearse the dance once while I videotape and we will post on social media. Costumes are optional and may be discussed with your teachers during class time.
SUNDAY MAY 17th we will hold Virtual Rehearsals for EVERY Competition Dance in the order of our upcoming Competition Showcase. Again, costumes can be discussed with each choreographer. We will rehearse the dance once while I videotape and we will post to social media.
These Rehearsals are NOT taking the place of recitals or showcases. It is just a way for us to get a little crazy and honor our original recital date.
